Silken Mohair is a bulky weight luxury yarn composed of 20% silk/ 70% mohair and 10% wool. This smooth yarn offers shine and loft that only silk and mohair can offer. Each hank is 8 oz and about 425 yards.

Specifications: Gauge is 3 stitches per inch on a size 9 needle in stockinette stitch although many knitters use larger needles for openwork shawls. This yarn is commonly used for shawls, wraps, market bags, scarves, hats and sweaters. Washing instructions: Handwash only, Lay flat to dry.
