This yarn is a lace weight 100% merino 2 ply yarn, known for softness and generous yardage. Hanks come 2400 yards / 8 oz. hank. This is enough for two large shawls or even a table cloth! Some knitters double this yarn to get a nice 4 ply fingering weight yarn. This yarn is versatile and can be used with many different needle sizes to achieve various gauges for lace knitting.

Specifications: If you are knitting in stockinette stitch use a size 3 needle to get 15 stitches and 22 rows over 2 inches. This is handpainted yarn and should be hand washed in cool water or dry cleaned.
