Supersock Design Contest
Ladies, start you needles! Submissions for our first ever Supersock
Solid Design Contest begin Labor Day. We seek a new design for
socks knit from one of our 14 solid colors. This design will be
knit from a solid color in order to show off patterns stitches and /
or lace work.
Shown in Yellow, Turquoise, Hot Pink, Amethyst, Burgundy, White,
Black
Bark, Purple, Teal, Cherry, Loden, Island Red, and Navy.
Rules:
This must be an original pattern and the pattern must accompany the
socks.
We want both socks and they must be able to be knit from just one
hank of Supersock Solids.
We cannot accept socks before Labor Day or after Thanksgiving Day.
Socks and pattern become the property of Cherry Tree Hill Yarn.
Prizes:
Winner will be announced December 1st and winning garment will be
featured on our site and at TNNA in January.
Winner gets $300 plus we will replace the yarn used.
Winning pattern will join the Cherry Tree Hill line up as a top pick
for 2007 and the winner will get a byline on the pattern itself.
We will also award 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention cash prizes.
